    <title>MCO Transport Participates in Transportation Truck Day</title>

    <description><![CDATA[Wilmington, NC-&nbsp; On June 3rd, MCO Transport participated in Transportation Truck Day 2008 at Blair ElementarySchool.&nbsp; Transportation Truck Day is a program designed to explain the importance of transportation and its relevance in the workplace.&nbsp; Also, this program provided awareness for these students about job opportunities in the transportation field. <p>MCO delivered a 6700 Series Volvo Sleeper Truck to Blair Elementary School for this event.&nbsp; The students toured the inside of the Sleeper Cab and saw how a driver lives when he goes on a long haul.&nbsp; The Sleeper Cab comes equipped with microwave, refrigerator, television, DVD, and C.B. Radio.&nbsp; The truck tour gave the students of Blair Elementary a first hand experience of a day in the life of an over the road truck driver.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>]]></description>

    <description><![CDATA[<em><p>WILMINGTON - MCO Transport, Inc. is pleased to announce the 2007 MCO D.R.I.V.E. Club Inductees. Entrance to the MCO D.R.I.V.E. Club is earned when an employee has 4 incident free quarters. At a luncheon held February 18, 2008 in Wilmington, NC; inductees were honored with an exclusive MCO D.R.I.V.E. Jacket, a plaque commemorating the achievement and a Garmin GPS unit. Additionally, each inductee was eligible for the annual MCO D.R.I.V.E. Club drawing with a grand prize valued at $5000 and 2 runners up prizes valued at $2500 and $1250. Each inductee should be proud of their accomplishment.     <title>MCO Donates it Services for Liberia Relief</title>

<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial">The container, fully loaded with 65,000 meals along with various donated items such as computers, clothing and tools was loaded on the vessel Troense Maersk destine for Monrovia, Liberia. From there it will be delivered to the missionary Frido Kinkolenge, who takes children of war-torn <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:country-region w:st="on">Liberia</st1:country-region></st1:place> under his wing giving them hope through education. </SPAN></P>

<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial">"Most of all, Frido needed food", explained Revered Bill Haddock of the <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Wrightsboro</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Methodist</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st="on">Church</st1:PlaceType></st1:place>. "Children are eating roots, tree leaves, and sometimes dirt in order to survive". <SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp;</SPAN></SPAN></P>

<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial">The church linked with the Raleigh-based nonprofit group StopHungerNow to produce the 65,000 meals. 270 volunteers showed up on December 2<SUP>nd</SUP> to assemble the 65,000 meal into sealed pouches. Each child is allotted only one meal a day. <SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp;</SPAN><SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp;</SPAN><SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp;</SPAN></SPAN></P>

MCO is honored to have been part of such an important cause. </SPAN></P>

The new plan was announced July 1<SUP>st</SUP>, at a cookout held at the company's home terminal in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Wilmington</st1:City></st1:place>. </SPAN></P>

"Our ultimate goal is to provide our drivers with excellent earning potential and a quality of life not found at typical trucking companies". Some areas changed includes per diem pay for domestic OTR drivers, increased mileage and hourly wages. <SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp;</SPAN></SPAN></P>
